01Information we collect

Foljent processes information supplied by businesses, their authorized team members and people communicating with those businesses. The information involved depends on the features a business enables and the permissions it grants. You should not submit passwords, payment-card details or sensitive information that is unnecessary for a conversation.

02Account information

Account details may include your name, email address, authentication information and team role. We use these details to provide account access, administer workspaces and respond to account or support requests.

03Business / workspace information

Businesses can provide general information, contact details, FAQs, policies, delivery rules and custom knowledge. Foljent uses this material to configure the workspace and provide responses relevant to that business. The business retains ownership of the content it supplies.

04Connected platform data

When a business connects Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or another supported platform, Foljent processes data made available through the permissions authorized for that connection. This may include account or Page identifiers, usernames, profile details made available by the platform, connection credentials and messaging events.

Access to Meta-related data is used to provide the connected messaging functionality requested by the business: receiving and organizing messages, identifying the relevant conversation and sending responses through the authorized channel. The scope depends on the approved permissions and platform capabilities. Foljent does not require you to provide your Facebook or Instagram password.

A business can disconnect an integration to stop further connected access. Disconnecting does not automatically erase records already stored in Foljent. See the Data Deletion page for removal instructions.

05Customer conversations

Messages, attachments where supported, channel identifiers and conversation history may be stored and processed to provide the inbox and generate responses. Leads may contain names, phone numbers, email addresses, channel usernames and business-configured fields. Each business is responsible for deciding which information it requests and for giving its customers appropriate notices.

06Product and order information

Businesses may supply product descriptions, prices, variants and inventory. Orders can include selected products, quantities, customer contact information, delivery addresses and status information. This data is used to support recommendations, order creation and order management. The selling business remains responsible for fulfilling purchases.

07How information is used

We use information to deliver and maintain the requested service, manage access, connect channels, retrieve relevant business knowledge, assist conversations, record leads and orders, handle support requests and protect the service from misuse. Operational information such as errors, device or request details may be processed for troubleshooting and security.

This public website saves your chosen language in local browser storage and a preference cookie. These are used to remember EN or SQ across pages and visits. The contact form uses submitted details to respond to your request once its delivery service is configured.

08Third-party services

Connected platforms, hosting and infrastructure providers, AI processing services and other providers needed for an enabled feature may process relevant information to provide that feature. For example, message content and relevant business knowledge may be passed to an AI service to help produce a response. Courier services, where an integration is available and enabled, may receive delivery details needed to handle an order.

Third-party platforms operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The providers and processing locations depend on the deployed service configuration. Contact us for information about the providers used by your workspace. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.

09Data retention

Information is retained for the operation of an active workspace and as needed for the purposes described here. Deletion requests may involve a workspace recovery period before scheduled permanent removal. Legal obligations, security requirements, disputes and backup lifecycles may affect the retention of particular records. The Data Deletion page explains the configured workspace process; contact us for details about a specific request.

10Security

Workspace access is scoped to the relevant business and its authorized users. Security also depends on appropriate permissions, account protection and the systems involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access through the support contact.

11Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with the business, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or an export of your personal information. Contact us with sufficient information to identify the account or records. We may verify identity and authority before responding.

If your information was collected by a business using Foljent, that business may be responsible for the request. We can help identify the relevant workspace or direct the request to the business where appropriate. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority.

12Data deletion

Workspace owners can use account settings where supported or contact us to request deletion. People seeking removal of Facebook or Instagram related information can disconnect the integration and request deletion of the previously stored data. Detailed public instructions are available on our Data Deletion page.

13Children's privacy

Foljent is a business software service and is not intended for children to create accounts. Businesses are responsible for ensuring their use of customer messaging complies with rules concerning minors. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed.

14Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the service or its information practices. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service or contact channel.
